NewWeb
Privacy
This page says what NewWeb (newweb.ai) does with your data. We don't sell it, and we don't use cookies for tracking or advertising.
What we keep
- Your account: your email and a protected version of your password, so you can log in. We keep a login cookie for this.
- Your webs: what you ask for, the webs you make and the versions of them, so you can come back and change them. Some of this stays only in your browser.
- Your pictures: pictures you add to your webs are stored and shown from newweb.ai, and anyone with the address can see them.
- Your use: how many changes you have used. Without an account we count them using a scrambled version of your network address, kept for 30 days.
- Form messages: what visitors send through forms on your published web, so we can pass it on to you.
- Totals: how many people reach each step, split by phone and desktop. These are only totals, with nothing that points to you.
Who helps us
- Cloudflare runs the service and stores the data.
- Anthropic writes your webs and helps check them against our rules, so what you ask for, your web and the pictures you add are sent to it.
- Unsplash supplies photos. It receives the search words for them, and your browser loads the photos from it.
- Google Fonts supplies fonts, so your browser connects to it.
Why we may do this
We need your account and your webs to give you the service you asked for. We keep totals and limits because we have a real interest in running NewWeb well and keeping it free of abuse.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, move or delete your data. You can also complain to the Swedish privacy authority, IMY. To reach us, use the contact form.
